Recently, I’ve been having some internal struggles with a certain client’s social media strategy. We didn’t see eye to eye on the type of content we should be posting, so I started to reflect. To dig deeper. I wanted to see what he saw.
And guess what? In the end, we were both wrong! You see, its not about what you or your client think should be posted, its what your followers (or customers) are telling you they want to see. They’ll engage with the better content. And in this case ,the analytics showed that the type of content both my client and I wanted to post didn’t perform all that well. And in the end, content is king.
So I pivoted. And so far, it seems to be working. Focus on the end-user. Not yourself.
